A History of the Confederate Navy

For thirty years world-renowned author navy federal credit union and scholar Raimondo Luraghi has sought answers to the question: How did an overwhelmingly agricultural country with little industry navy federal credit union and nearly no merchant marine succeed in building a navy that managed to confront the formidable Union navy for four years? Ironclad of the Roanoke

Almost every student of Confederate naval history has heard of the ironclad Albemarle. She was successful in combat with the Union navy in several offensive navy federal credit union and defensive actions in the waters of North Carolina, but wartime politics prevented her from forcing the Federals to leave Albemarle Sound, North Carolina.
